Something about us.
Our Farm was born from a genuine passion for nature and from the farming heritage of our family. We are a 0km farm.
We will work hard to make sure every morning will be the start of a special day with exciting experiences. We will create, harmonise and try to deliver our passion in producing our food, until this will be prepared in good food in our kitchen.
There will be always something new, always a new dish. Cooking for us, means creating and getting inspired by new discoveries.
Yoga and cooking class are the fundamentals.
Anna Maria, your yoga teacher, has studied with the masters of Yoga, both Italian and International such as Manju Jois, David Williams, David Swenson, Jacopo Ceccarelli, Gianni Zollo ed Ester Lim.
Anna Maria and her experience in teaching makes her compassionate in understanding your energy and uplift your well being and your spirit. A great day after a Yoga class with her is guaranteed.
Anna Maria is also trained to teach Yoga to young children and teenagers, so bring your whole family. Yoga and good food, increase levels of endorphins bringing the body to a deep feeling of well being. All of this, in order to develop self control and self confidence. On top of it, we are in Tuscany, so we’ll make sure to dedicate some time to the Dolce Vita!
Our genuine cooking with rare and fine flours.
Home made pasta and bread are found on many tables around Tuscany today, but we have chosen to start from the basic, carefully producing our prime matter first. This is why we grow the old wheat called ‘Senatore Cappelli’.
Here is the story of why we have chosen antique wheats.
Old wheats are a variety of grains which during centuries they haven’t been genetic changes and selection operated by industries. This is what kept their original nature. We are talking about very precious grains, different from modern cereals for taste, perfume and flavour, and of course for their unique nutritious properties. These grains can be used also from who is gluten intolerant, discovering again the pleasure of a good plate of pasta or a slice of warm bread.
What is on the Menu’
We have no particular preference when we cook, except the choice of only excellent quality meat and vegetables, sourcing them from either our garden or local small farmers. We are a 0km farm, so everything we source is carefully selected, such as also some animals breed from our parents and grandparents.
