Join Charlene for a workshop on yoga as self-care for arthritis. Yoga for Arthritis is a therapeutic approach to yoga that strengthens and tones the muscles, maintains joint health, stimulates circulation and supports the central nervous system. A therapeutic yoga approach benefits everyone!
Type of Event
In this workshop, you will learn how yoga can help alleviate discomfort using yoga poses and the breath. You’ll practice slow, meditative yoga movements that support the joints. You’ll learn how to practice yoga sitting in a chair as well as sitting on the floor with ease by using props to support your alignment. This workshop will also include information and discussion on proper nutrition and dietary practices tto support healthy immune function.
