Dr Vikas Mali is an experienced and highly knowledgable Ayurvedic Medicine Practioner, diet and lifestyle consultant, with a comprehensive herbal knowledge, and is a yoga instructor. His training at Apex Institute, National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur (an autonomous body under Ministry of Ayush Govt., India), was comprehensive in all aspects of Ayurveda. His passion, sincerity and knowledge of Ayurveda will inspire you to take home and practice the knowledge filled Ayurvedic cooking demonstration.
Davina (Vidya) has trained extensively with Shantarasa Yoga and is certified at Senior Level with Yoga Alliance. She has been teaching and studying yoga for over a decade and is passionate a out the benefits Hatha Yoga can bring. She is passionate about apply Hatha Yoga in it's traditional form as a complete practice to heal body systems, mind and improve energetic quality within.
The workshop includes:
A 90 minute cooling and calming Hatha Yoga practice, including moon salutation.
An interactive Ayurvedic lifestyle cooking demonstration with time to ask questions and sample all the foods prepared.
Summer blend Ayurvedic tea to take home along with a sheet outlining use of Ayurvedic spices in the home beyond cooking.
