This course is for continuing practitioners who would like to develop their yoga practice further in a fun and supportive group. We focus on systems of health and vitality according to traditional Yoga methods.

Ancient Yoga has many secrets to reveal the systems of the body, breath, mind and spirit. First we explore some easy to follow theory in order to understand what is good health. From there we can start to practice simple and effective techniques aimed at enhancing our own health and enjoying the positive effect it has on life. You will leave class feeling relaxed and rejuvinated.
Expect to experience:
Asana: physical postures
Pranayama: breathing and management of one's energy
Nada/Mantra: using the voice and sound
Bhavana/Nyasa: subtle techniques including visualisation and gestures
By the end of the course you will have:
an understanding of some of Yoga's most useful lessons on vitality
experienced ways to optimise your own health through Yoga
a selection of tools and techniques you can continue to do at home
About the teacher:
Gaby teaches yoga students of all levels from absolute beginners to qualified teachers. Her approach centres on helping individuals practice yoga in a way that complements their lifestyle and aspirations. Gaby has an extensive training and practice in the lineage of Sri Krishnamacharya and TKV Desikachar (750+ hours plus further continuing study and mentoring). She teaches only the simplest, most effective traditional techniques.
