In this workshop, we will use yogic breathing and basic meditation as tools to quiet the brain's 'fight or flight' response and to enhance the 'calm and connect' response.
You will gain:
- breathing techniques (Pranayama) and basic breath anatomy
- meditation and bio-feedback strategies
- understanding of nervous systems and stress response
- knowledge of 'prana' (life-force) and the energy currents (subtle body anatomy)
Workshop includes take-home handouts to help you cultivate your contemplative home-practice.
