Anxiety affects many of us in different ways. Everyday struggles, life transitions, loss, fears of specific situations, and other stressors can lead to changes in the nervous system and brain, leaving a lingering effect on the body and mind. Current research indicates that the practice of yoga is an effective treatment for symptoms of anxiety. Come join us as we focus on welcoming peace to the mind and body through a combination of discussion, breath work, meditation and gentle movement. All levels welcome.
