Yoga for Anxiety: Practice & Practical Tips
A day of practice and take away practical tips for yoga practitioners and teachers using yoga to transform anxiety. We'll adapt asana, pranayama, and meditation specifically to calm and focus the mind and give you tools to re-create the effects on your own and in your classes.

The mind is our most powerful tool for growth and transformation. Like any powerful force, it can be misused. Persistent anxiety is a wake up and self-protection system run a muck. Centuries ago and ever since then yoga practices are used to harness and direct our minds where we want them to go. The practices work, but we have to keep doing them. Distraction is blessed relief, but it is not a long term solution. We need reliable methods to help us cultivate a calm, clear and tranquil mind that we can live in peacefully and productively in the world. In this workshop experience the benefit for yourself and walk away with ways to re-create it on your own and in your classes.
