Yoga for Back and Hips
Essential for anyone experiencing pain or tension through their spine and hips! Discussion and practice surrounding the root causes discomfort, and effective relief.

30 minute discussion followed by 90 minute practice
This class is a blend of Somatic movements, Therapeutic yoga, and Classic asana designed to help create better functional movements patterns in our bodies and ease tension and pain in these trouble areas.
This workshop will focus on movements to help increase mobility, stability, and strength of the muscles around our hip joints, pelvis, and spine.
In our bodies, we can experience trauma, injuries, strain, stress, and overuse of our muscles. Over time, these issues can lead to pain, tension, immobility, and instability.
We will use Somatic movements to re-educate the muscles around our joints and spine by "bringing our brain in" and using "conscious movements." These movements will create more mobility. We will then practice therapeutic movements to increase stability, and we will add Classical Asana postures to bring in strength as needed.
