Yoga for Bone Strength
This series is designed for those with a diagnosis of Osteopenia or mild to moderate Osteoporosis.

4 90-MINUTE CLASSES - $80
( STUDENTS REPEATING THIS SERIES - $60 for the series or individual classes for $16+tax per class with pre-registration.)

Each session includes an educational introduction followed by a full practice presented with a variety of appropriate modifications for these diagnoses. After the series, students can bring this knowledge to other yoga classes allowing them to practice more safely. Students should be fit enough to hold standing poses a minimum of 30 seconds to build muscle strength and optimize pressure on bones to strengthen them.
This class is not suitable for individuals who have difficulty transitioning between standing and seated on the floor, who have severe osteoporosis, or have had an osteoporotic fracture. Please talk with the instructor by contacting the studio if you have questions. All students are strongly encouraged to check with their physician regarding this activity as it relates to their diagnosis and fracture risk prior to the first class.
