Yoga for Cyclists: prepare body and mind
Prepare body and mind for the 2014 cycling season. Designed specifically for cyclists, this 10-week series will focus on improving flexibility, core strength, breathing power and focus. New to yoga are welcome!

We will focus on stretches that counteract the effects of sitting on a bike for a long period of time (chest openers, gentle back bends, hip flexors) as well as stretching the main muscles involved in the pedal stroke (hips, hamstrings, quads, calves.) Throughout the class, emphasis will be put on developing breathing power thru specific exercises as well as building core strength, essential for safely supporting our body while riding a bike.
