ABOUT THE RETREAT:
Join Summer Dien for a week of pranayama and asana, and FUN at Samahita Retreat on the beach in Koh Samui, Thailand.

Achieve higher levels of clarity, joy, inner peace, and calm. Relieve stress and connect to yourself again.

As a former teacher at Samahita, Summer is excited to return and reunite with her yoga family and share all that she’s learned on her travels thus far.

During this retreat, we will learn and practice the kriyas, cleansing practices, and pranayama. We will move through the ashtanga sequence and help you to develop a yoga practice or go deeper with an existing practice. Both the pranayama and asana classes will be guided and moving toward a manageable, realistic independent self-practice.

Summer’s goal is to give you the tools to have a self-guided daily sadhana (practice) that you can keep up with once you leave Samahita.

There will be opportunities to enjoy alone time and group bonding, all on the beautiful island of Koh Samui.

This retreat is open to all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Modifications and variations will be offered as needed. The practice will be tailored to suit your specific needs. We will make the practice work for you and your life.

This retreat is suitable for:

Complete beginners
Intermediate
Advanced
Those with injuries
Pregnant women – modifications will be offered

ABOUT SUMMER:
Summer Dien is an international yoga teacher. She was born in Vietnam and raised in Minnesota. She discovered yoga in 2010 while working as a kindergarten teacher in Doha, Qatar. She completed her teacher training in 2013 at Samahita Retreat in Koh Samui, Thailand with Paul Dallaghan.

Summer stayed on to work at Samahita Retreat as a yoga teacher and wellness advisor for two years from 2013-2015. She taught pranayama, mysore, led ashtanga, restorative yoga, and guided meditation classes and also assisted on retreats and teacher training courses. During those two years, Summer worked with over thousands of different people from diverse backgrounds, with different body types, injuries and other issues. With that wealth of experience and a firm foundation in teaching, she went on to lead her own yoga retreat and teach workshops and classes all over the world. Summer has taught in Bali, Singapore, Maldives, Taiwan, Bangladesh, USA, and Switzerland, Germany, and England.

She believes in using the body in the most intelligent way possible and has a liberal, non-dogmatic approach to asana. She is dedicated to a daily practice of pranayama and asana. Always a student first, she continues to study extensively with her teachers Sri OP Tiwariji and Paul Dallaghan in the areas of pranayama and asana.

Summer is very excited to be back at Samahita, which she considers to be her second home.
