Yoga for Freediving
This ground-breaking week is designed to lay the strongest foundations to every freediver’s training and performance. It is all about finding relaxation and enjoyment in the water, which is essential whether you are a recreational diver, or intend to train seriously for depth increase. Being calm in the water - and knowing how to create that state in your mind and body every time - is the most important part of making a successful and beautiful dive.

This week is open to and suitable for freedivers of all levels, although for safety reasons, AIDA 2*, SSI level 1 or equivalent is a prerequisite. Complete beginners can complete this before joining the week. This week is perfect preparation for those wanting to join the Next-Level Training week.
If you have never tried freediving but want to get yourself off to the best possible start by laying the foundations with the yogic approach from Discover Your Depths, you can still join this week.
You will need to arrive on or before 5th May and do a beginner’s freediving certification with our AIDA instructor. This will ensure you know the basics of freediving from breathing and equalisation techniques to physiology and safety.
The cost for this course is just €300 (not including accommodation). You can hire equipment at the hotel. Please let us know if you need to get your certification before joining our Yoga for Freediving week.
