10 years agao, when Daniela began her yoga journey due to back problems and a need to de-stress after a long day at work, she had no idea that yoga would change her world profoundly.
That all changed in 2012, when Daniela found her world shattering due to life events that challenged her on a very deep level. After attending a Suncokret Retreat, led by resident yoga therapist, Evening-Marie, Daniela made the decision to sign up for a yoga teacher training course in India with Evening’s beloved yoga therapy teacher, Saji, founder of Vasishta Yoga Research Foundation in Kerala, India
For Daniela, the training with Saji opened up the spiritual path behind the practice and helped her grow and heal at the same time. Daniela returned the following year to study the Integrated Approach to Yoga Therapy under Saji's guidance, enabling her to deepen the yoga practise of her students and help cure and improve common health problems. She now teaches in Munich with a deep sense of joy, love and wonder.
Daniela views working with students as the opportunity to learn and grow in the practice together. She sees herself inside each student and feels that her students bring her closer to her core and the patterns inside which are universally shared among all people.
Her theme-inspired classes are influenced by a long-term Jivamukti-based vinyasa practice, but elements from Hatha and Iyengar Yoga also lend support to her teaching. Mantras, spirituality and yoga philosophy are also integrated into her classes, as are “little movements” that prepare the student to go into a posture and hold it for a longer period of time.
