Yoga for Osteoporosis Prevention

Why is Osteoporosis dangerous? Simply put, it breaks bones. Most commonly the spine, hip and wrist. We start losing our bone mineral density at 28 at a rate of 1% annually, even with exercise and healthy diet.

The typical prescription for Osteoporosis is weight-bearing and impact exercise, but what if you also have osteoarthritis (common in people over 55)??

YOGA is the answer! Learn about yoga's bone-strengthening benefits in a 12 pose evidence-based sequence.
