Yoga for Pain and Stress
This class is for anyone suffering from minor or chronic aches, pains and stress. Pretty much most people in London!!
The type of yoga we work with is therapeutic and deeply relaxing, enabling us to address the patterns of stress in our body so that we find new ways of releasing and moving that cause less stress and strain.
Type of Event
There is a break on 16th February for half term.
This is a two part course but participants are strongly advised to take both parts. To take one five week part alone is £75.
The course is divided into two parts of five weeks each. The first part focusses more on the lower body - lower back, hips, legs and feet. The second more on the upper body - upper back, shoulders, arms and neck.
Therapeutic yoga and Hanna somatic exercises work amazingly together to help you understand your muscles, fascia and nervous system and what they need to feel more comfortable and relaxed.
You will be provided with home yoga practice sheets so you can practice safely between classes and when the course is over you'll have two home practices that you can use to alleviate general aches and pains that may arise from modern life.
