Yoga for Pelvic Floor Health
Lecture and discussion focused on pelvic floor anatomy and physiology. Hatha and Restorative Yoga practice with pelvic floor strengthening, awareness, and relaxation to follow.

This workshop is for men and women who are interested in learning how yoga practices can support the pelvic floor. Catherine is a Yogi/Pelvic Physical Therapist who will de-mystify the pelvic floor by reviewing its anatomy and physiology, and helping you understand how it supports the health of the following systems:
-urinary health and continence
-regular elimination of toxins
-core strength and protection of the lumbar spine
Be prepared to go beyond "the Kegel" and practice techniques to improve awareness, strength, endurance, coordination, flexibility and relaxation of the pelvic floor muscles as part of a hatha, vinyasa, and restorative yoga practice. Components of this workshop include lecture, discussion, fearless and uninhibited Q&A, meditation, pranayama, and asana.
