Yoga for Relaxation and Stress Relief
2 hour class to learn yoga, meditation and breathing techniques designed to alleviate stress and promote relaxation.

Join me for this 2-hour workshop to learn how yoga can help you relax and reduce your stress level. We all experience stress in our lives and sometimes the cumulative effects of stress can overwhelm and deplete us, causing unpleasant symptoms that can manifest in a variety of ways: insomnia, pain, anxiety, illness, and more. The practice of yoga provides a path for us to deal with this stress and works on all levels of our being: body, mind and spirit.
In this workshop we will learn asanas (yoga postures), pranyama (breathing exercises) and meditation techniques designed to help us tap into our true nature of peace and stillness. The practice will end with a prolonged Savasana (yoga resting pose) with guided meditation and option for hands on assist to help your deepen into relaxation.
All levels welcome!
Everything you need is provided, including yoga mats, but you are welcome to bring your own.
