Yoga For Runners
Yoga can be an ideal partner to running and can greatly enhance flexibility & strength, improve performance and enable muscles to recover more quickly. In this workshop we will be looking at how we can use yoga to support a running practice and help with common body issues associated with running.

Yoga can be an ideal partner to running and can greatly enhance flexibility & strength, improve performance and enable muscles to recover more quickly. Yoga practice can increase lung capacity by conditioning the diaphragm and helping the chest to open more fully. Yoga has also been shown to reduce the likelihood of sustaining running injuries.
This yoga for runners workshop is designed to stretch the muscles used in running & apply yoga techniques to assist in avoiding common problems associated with running.
The focus will be on working the lower half of the body and developing core strength & stability alongside the ashtanga concepts of aligning movement with steady breath.
No experience of yoga is necessary however the workshop is put together with runners in mind.
