Yoga for Stress Management
Come de-stress! Join us for this safe and empowering Viniyoga (personalized yoga) practice focused on reducing and eliminating stress!

In this 2 hour workshop, we'll talk about the hows and whys related to stress in our lives. We will then use the well-tested tools of personalizing your yoga, known as Viniyoga, to experience a clearer mind and a reduction of stress. You will go home with an understanding of your own stress and tools with which to manage it in your everyday life. Viniyoga is yoga modified for the individual, allowing you to discover your stress and then to learn to relieve it. Viniyoga is safe and empowering for the beginner to the most advanced yogi. We will use asana (yoga poses), breathing, mantra (chanting) and meditation (mindfulness) to better understand our bodies and the inner-workings of our minds.
About the instructor:
Erin's Viniyoga classes incorporate breath-centered asanas, breath-work and mantra to ease the body's tension, build strength to injured or weakened muscles and penetrate the deeper layers of the mind and emotions. Viniyoga is yoga modified to meet the individual's needs so all people are encouraged to attend, no matter how experienced.
Erin will finish her RYT 500-hour certification in Viniyoga with Gary Kraftsow this March. She has also studied yoga anatomy and breath-centered yoga with Leslie Kaminoff and has spent some time at a Buddhist monastery in Taiwan, where she began to learn the difficult art of meditation.
