Yoga for Stress & Self-Compassion
It’s an increasingly well-known fact that stress negatively impacts us on a physiological, emotional and cognitive level, and that it both contributes to and directly causes disease. Understanding how to manage stress at each of these levels is therefore fundamental to achieving and maintaining optimal health and wellbeing.

In this workshop, Tash Sekar will guide you through a gentle and nourishing yoga sequence with a focus on slow, somatic movements to ease our nervous system out of the ‘fight or flight’ response into a calmer ‘rest and digest’ state. You will come away with a better understanding of why we stress, how stress is stored in the body, and how you can reduce stress with simple yoga practices that help you feel more grounded and relaxed.
