Do you ever feel sluggish? Anxious? Or have you noticed your posture deteriorating? Then join Ali Hankey for this special 2-hour workshop focused on reconnecting to your body’s energetic power store: your core.

During the workshop you will gain skills and techniques to help you feel stronger and move more confidently, including:

• Greater body awareness
• Basic techniques to activate your core
• Easily repeatable poses to develop a stronger centre

The workshop will concentrate on the abdominal muscles, obliques, the muscles along the spine, and the pelvic floor, exploring their role in specific poses and showing you how to engage them all with the aim of feeling stronger, more energised and agile in your everyday life. You will also explore the energetic connection between mind and body through stability, balance, breathing and twisting.

Whether you’re new to yoga, have been doing it for ages, or simply want an afternoon to reconnect with your body and mind, this is for you!
