YOGA FOR THE THIRD CHAKRA – EMBRACING PERSONAL POWER
Come prepared to ignite the ‘fire in your belly' - our yoga practice will include core-strengthening poses, twists, and breathing exercises to build stamina and endurance. Mudra practice (hand gestures) and guided meditations are included to balance the third (Manipura) chakra.

Sunday, October 23 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Arrive 10-15 minutes early as these workshops fill up quickly.
In this workshop, we will explore how yoga practice can bring balance to the third chakra, which is often called the ‘power chakra’. The third chakra (Manipura) is the energetic hub for prana, our vital energy. Manipura is located at the solar plexus and oversees the stomach, pancreas, adrenals, small intestine, gall bladder and liver. This energy center impacts our self-esteem, physical energy, and personal power; it provides the fuel to take action and move forward with our lives. When energy is flowing well in the third chakra, we feel empowered, we create what we need, and we have the energy to do it.
