Do you ever feel like you have little control over your body, mind and emotions?
Are you looking to feel more comfortable in your body, and develop practical skills that will help you manage stress?
The late teens and early twenties is a time that can often feel confusing, awkward and overwhelming. A tremendous amount of life transitions physically, mentally and emotionally happen during those years. For those who have also experienced adversity and trauma it can sometimes feel unbearable. It is not uncommon to turn to destructive ways of coping. Trauma sensitive yoga is a way to build healthy coping skills.

This eight week series emphasizes paying attention to our present experience with curiosity and compassion. This series will offer students a safe and supportive environment to make healthy and empowered choices.

In this series you will:

-Learn specifically how and why yoga is well-designed to build resiliency after trauma.

-Begin to learn specific techniques to calm the nervous system, and develop emotional regulation skills.

This 8 week series begins January 15 and ends March 12th. Note there is no class February 12.
