A steady practice will help you build strength, flexibility, balance, focus and well being of inner peace. Join us and learn the fundamentals of healthy and safe alignment for your specific body, synchronising poses with breath in moving meditation.
An introduction to yoga for beginners and continuing students who wish to refine their current practice. Develop the roots of a safe and solid yoga practice, reconnecting with mind and body, exploring sensations of grounding, expansion and space.
Delve into the foundations of a yoga practice, becoming familiar with use of props, enabling awareness of alignment and healthy spine movement, investigating the balance of effort and surrender and development of a home practice.
In this 2 days workshop, you will be introduced to the foundation postures of yoga - from Mountain Pose to Downward Facing Dog - along with basic breath work, core activation and a little flow.
For those with regular practice, this workshop will deepen your understanding of basic alignment principles to promote safety and ease in all yoga postures while continuing to build strength and stability.
We will also go through a short sequence of poses to help build and cultivate your home practice.
This workshop is only limited to a small number of students to ensure everyone gets personalised, hands on attention.
