Full Description

Come and join us for a 1 week yoga holiday on the beautifull Greek island Paros. Hatha yoga based on the systeem of mr Iyengar, but with a softer approach. Small groups of maximum 11 persons, suitable for all levels, also for those without yoga experience. Also for the less sportive and less flexible people. YOGA IS FOR EVERY BODY! Exercises will be adapted to your personal level. The yoga holiday offered is a great treat for yourself. NO bootcamp; reasonable class hours and enough time left to enjoy the island, the sea, the sun and the Greek lifestyle. Props (pillows/blankets/belts) are used to adapt the pose to your personal level and to learn how to do the poses correct. Mats and other props used are available; you don't need to take anything with you for the yoga classes. No chanting, no mystification, but pure ‘back to basic’ yoga. Asana's/poses and meditation/relaxation.
The yoga courses will be held on Paros, one of the most beautiful islands of the Cyclades. The Cyclades are a group of islands in the Aegean Sea, between Athens and Crete, known for its natural beauty and spectacular architecture. The village Piso Aliki is a quiet bay, just behind Aliki, a small fishing village at the still quiet south-coast of Paros. There are several lovely beaches close by, a few taverna’s, restaurants at the seaside and beautiful sunsets to enjoy in the afternoon. No nightlife, no discotheques, just calmness and tranquillity…..except for an occasional village party which are realy nice. Piso Aliki and yoga, the perfect combination to realy unwind from your daily stress, relax and enjoy life.
