YOGA HOLIDAY
With Graham Burns and Lisa Kaley-Isley

We are excited to be co-teaching a week-long yoga holiday at Les Passeroses 11-18 July 2015. We are both second career yoga teachers who found yoga practices to be transformative in our personal and professional lives. Our styles of teaching are similar and complementary. Both of us invoke a lightness of spirit combined with mindful attention in our classes and we attempt to bring alive the promise of yoga philosophy in an embodied experience. We know the value of on-going practice to help sustain and support ourselves, and of time away on holiday to deeply nourish and restore ourselves. Over the course of the week we will experience a combination of energizing and calming practices designed to help us feel enriched in body, mind and sprit. This week is open to individuals with all levels of yoga experience, apart from complete beginners.

SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEK
We’ll enjoy two long practices each day, where we will weave together asana, pranayama, meditation, relaxation and discussion. There will be free time to explore the beautiful open space of the French countryside walking, swimming, and lounging as best suits you. There is availability to schedule massage sessions on-site as well. We’ll enjoy 3 locally sourced vegetarian meals a day (and excellent local French wine if you wish!).

Wednesday afternoon we’ll take an excursion into a neighbouring town and enjoy dinner there.

Travel to and from Les Passeroses

Travel is NOT included in the cost of the week. It is your responsibility to make your own travel arrangements. The easiest way to travel from London is by train to Angoulème, changing either in Paris or Lille. In Paris, remember to allow enough time (we recommend at least 90 minutes) to cross from the Gare du Nord to the Gare Montparnasse. Trains should be booked as soon as possible to benefit from the best fares.

We recommend that you aim to arrive in Angoulème by no later than 17.45 on Saturday 11 July. The transfer by car from Angoulème station to Les Passeroses, which takes just over half an hour, is included in the cost of the week, and will (subject to any train delays or timetable changes) leave Angoulème station at 17.45. The meeting point will be at the main entrance to the station, under the clockface – it is not a huge station, so look out for fellow travellers with yoga mats, or a group of lost looking people…
