Type of Event
- Teacher Training
Saturdays and Sundays from 12:30-5:30p during the month of October
These 50 hours will be dedicated to the practice and philosophy of Yoga with a slant toward sharing this practice with others. This training is 5 hours a day each Saturday and Sunday during the month of October. Each session will begin with an asana practice, or yoga class. Then with warmed up bodies and focused minds, move into a discussion, about the anatomy and alignment of specific postures/asanas (backbends, twists, warrior poses, arm balances, etc). Giving modifications and ways to advance, as well as transition between poses. After the physical portion of the day, we will cool down with the philosophic portion of Yoga. Talking about the sutras, the 8 limbs, conscious breathing, and ways to bring your yoga off your mat. If teaching is something you would like to do, good news, you will also share this practice by teaching during our time together toward the end of the month. At the end of our 50 hour training, you will receive a certificate of completion for attending each session and being an active participant. In addition, if you decide that you would like to take floo-id Yoga’s 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in the future, the money and time spent on this 50hr Immersion will go toward the 200hr training!
