Join our group trip for a week of fun and sun in sailing paradise. The Virgin Islands are known for some of the best sailing conditions in the world. We’ll sail through islands where pirates like Blackbeard once roamed, visiting famous beach bars and restaurants along the way in a luxurious late model catamaran yacht.
Sailing experience is not necessary and it’s perfect for everyone – singles, couples and groups of friends. Multiple activities include daily yoga, sailing, swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, diving, fishing, surfing, SUPing, hiking or just soak up the sun on the deck or a beach. Our experienced crew and yoga instructors will ensure your trip is enjoyable and memorable.
Day 1 - Arrive in beautiful (and warm) Tortola and proceed to the yacht charter base to meet the rest of the crew and enjoy a welcome reception sponsored by YACHT Solutions followed by orientations on our boats. Dinner is on your own.
Day 2 - Set sail with an easy day for you to get used to the boat in the Sir Francis Drake channel. We will anchor this afternoon in the Bight at Norman Island. Snorkel at the world famous “Caves” or “The Indians”, take an easy hike to the top of the island for one of the most spectacular views of the Caribbean, or just relax and soak up some rays. At dusk enjoy dinner aboard or dinghy to The Willy “T” for the best steaks in the BVI.
Day 3 - Enjoy your sail today as we head for our moorings at Marina Cay. You may want to visit “The Baths” at the southern end of Virgin Gorda or try Monkey Point’s fabulous snorkeling before heading for our anchorage or you may choose to try the beach at the harbour. Grab some grog and gruel at Pusser’s Landing or make your way to happy hour for the famous “painkiller” at the top of the hill bar.
Day 4 - We head off for Gorda Sound at the north end of Virgin Gorda. You may want to snorkel at “The Dogs” before picking up a mooring at the exclusive Bitter End Resort. There will be a meet up just before dinner for a group photo. A traditional West Indies barbeque is available at the resort and is followed by live music and dancing into the wee hours of the night.
Day 5 - Today we will have a terrific sail to the island of Anegada. We’ll pick up moorings, eat lunch and dinghy ashore. You may choose to see the shops, travel to Loblolly Bay by taxi for some great snorkeling or just enjoy a beach day at Loblolly.
Day 6 - Enjoy a marvelous sail to Jost Van Dyke where we will pick up moorings in Little Harbour. Take your dinghy to Foxy’s Taboo, hike out to the “bubbling pool” and relax in nature’s finest.
Day 7 - Sail up the Sir Francis Drake Channel today to Cooper Island. Stop at Salt Island for snorkeling at the wreck of the Rhone before picking up your mooring at the Cooper Island Beach Club in Manchioneel Bay. Superb snorkeling is waiting for you off Cistern Point at Cooper Island. Relax on board or on the beach as the sun sets over the island of St. John.
Day 8 - Awake in the morning to a tropical sunrise and relax with your last breakfast aboard. Cruise back to the charter base for an 11:00 arrival. The shuttle will take you to the airport or the ferry dock for our return flights home.
