Yoga Intensive with Lois Steinberg

Yoga is silence, according to Patanjali's Yoga Sutra 1.2. The five afflictions (kleshas) which disturbs the consciousness are ignorance, ego, attachment to pleasure, aversion to pain, and fear (Yoga Sutra 2.3). These afflictions are related to the external (bahiranga) body and disturb the subtle (sukshma) body. During this workshop Lois will guide the student from the gross to the subtle in asana and pranayama to bring stillness to the consciousness.

Open to all students with a minimum of one year Iyengar Yoga study.
