Our grand reopening! The studio has been expanded to 2,800 square feet and features three studios with one dedicated hot yoga studio. Additional renovations include a private consultation room for yoga, meditation, life and nutritional coaching and Reiki/energy balancing work. Hardwood floors, new lighting and custom artwork have been added to create an even more natural, friendly and welcoming environment. Once a small farmhouse, the self-standing structure sits on approximately one acre and provides a new extended porch for additional meditation and social community space.
Specializing in a variety of yoga styles including Kundalini, Hot Yoga with weights, Hot Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Yin and Restorative, the expansion allows Yoga Lola to fulfill the demand for more classes and new services. Examples of additional types of classes to be offered in 2016 include Pre-Natal and toddler Mommy & Me.
Yoga Lola Studios regularly conducts workshops and special events throughout the year that range from essentials of the physical practice to the deeper dimensions of yoga including meditation, prenatal, health and wellness. They also offer a 200-Hour, Yoga Alliance certified Teacher Training Course, as well as a 65-Hour Energy Mastery Course that trains Reiki practitioners.
Starting in 2016, Yoga Lola offers its Teacher Training Program students the unique opportunity to also use their 200-Hour Teacher Training Program towards a Master’s Degree at Wisdom University, the only yoga studio to do so in the United States.
“Our mission has always been to provide students of every age with quality yoga instruction from experienced and highly trained instructors within a safe, welcoming and friendly environment,” says owner Lola Scarborough. “Our offerings are unique as they are for everyone. Students range from teens to individuals in their 70’s. We are committed to not leaving any behind with it comes to health and wellness and plan to expand our services even more in the coming years.”
