Sun and Moon: Stretch, Breathe, Strengthen, Release Stress

Afternoon SUN & MOON workshop for all levels except complete beginners.
Beginning with SUN SALUTATIONS session of warm-up, gentle flow, standing and balancing postures, and twists, to energise, strengthen and lengthen. Awareness of any injuries, physical or mental challenges.
Breathing deeply, going with the breath flow. Feeling the pose from the inside out.
Awareness of internal organs, muscles, joints, ligaments, tendons, nerves, fascia.
Awareness of the feet and the lift upwards into each pose.
Care with the lower back, knees and shoulders, to avoid any injury or over-stretching.
Restorative MOON yoga session with awareness of gravity and releasing deeply and slowly into postures, using bolsters to support the body and allow the mind to relax, to benefit from the deep healing of a held posture.
Feeling the internal organs, and the lymphatic system twisted and cleansed.
Clear the mind. Let go.
FINISH with breathing exercises (Pranyama).
TEA and CAKE.
