Full Description

Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice originating from Tantra. It literally means “conscious sleep” but it is also referred to as “yogic sleep”.
Normally when people sleep they do not unburden totally; instead they carry their frustrations, conflicts, pain and turmoil with them in sleep, hence sleep never goes deep. This creates constant tension in body and mind. Yoga Nidra reduces all kind of tension, healing nervous system and endocrine imbalance. When emotional tensions are released we come out of all duality, love, hate, pain, pleasure; on the other hand, when these emotions are repressed we begin to lose our sanity and stability. Yoga Nidra enables us to dive deep into the realm of subconscious and thereby we release all tensions. It is a state of mind in between wakefulness and dream, when one reaches a state of deep relaxation so that the subconscious and unconscious levels of mind can open and all impressions from this life and previous lives can be burned. In this state one can change the nature of the mind, reshape the personality; sometimes diseases can be cured and one’s creative genius can be restored. Yoga Nidra is one of the most effective form of psychic and physiological rest; it helps to rejuvenate body and mind, as well as to restore a state of calm and peace and therefore it is particularly beneficial for people leading busy and stressful lives.
No experience needed, just the ability to lay down still for one hour.
