Yoga Nidra Fundraiser
Yoga Nidra is a method of resting the body and allowing the mind to detach from its usual busyness so that new insights are gained or deep states of restoration can occur. We will recline comfortably, supported by props. The sense of hearing will be our link to the meditation and we find a nice level of bliss. This is a restorative practice.

Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice that allows the practitioner to deeply rest. The guided meditation is structured so that the body and mind relax and in a quiet awareness, the mind is able to gain new insight, alter habits, reinforce intentions, and explore new thought pathways. The sense of hearing is used to listen to the meditation and the body rests comfortably. Practitioners should dress in comfortable clothing and be prepared to lie on yoga mats on the floor supported by bolsters and blankets.
