Bringing together well-respected teachers from science and spirituality, the symposium offers a truly holistic perspective on how to heal and overcome our own addictive or selfdestructive behaviors, as well as heal the pain of having loved ones suffer from addiction. Speakers will discuss perspectives on addiction from the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels, investigating the root causes and reasons for our compulsions, attachments, and addictive imbalances from medical, yogic, and Ayurvedic perspectives. Join us for an exploration of practical, cutting-edge teachings on addiction, recovery, and personal transformation.

Presenters:
Swami Sitaramananda
Swami Sitaramananda is the Director of the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm in Grass Valley, California, and a direct disciple of Swami Vishnudevananda. She has many years of experience teaching meditation, Yoga philosophy and positive thinking all over the world. She has authored a Positive Thinking Manual and is an expert in the art of teaching positive thinking and how to deal with the mind and emotions.

Catherine O'Neill (Durga Leela)
Catherine O'Neill (Durga Leela) is a Clinical Ayurvedic and Pancha Karma Specialist, trained at the California College of Ayurveda, and in Kerala, India. She is also a Sivananda trained Yoga teacher (RYT-500), extensively trained in meditation and Vedanta. She has been involved with the 12-Step Fellowship for over 13 years and has developed the "Yoga of Recovery" programs and led retreats internationally since then. She is the Director of the Ayurveda Programs at the Yoga Farm in California, and leads several Ayurvedic Retreats at International Sivananda Yoga Ashrams.

Robert Johnson
Robert R. Johnson, , serves as the Medical Director for the Amen Clinics, Inc. Board-certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine, Dr. Johnson’s previous roles include Medical Director of Sierra Tucson and Senior Medical Director of College Hospital. He is also a Certified Executive Coach who has worked with Rockwell International, Sony, Disney, and the US Olympic Committee. Dr. Johnson has done research on psychopharmacology, depression, and physical illnesses that produce psychiatric symptoms.

Tommy Rosen
Tommy Rosen is a yoga teacher and addiction recovery expert who has spent the last two decades immersed in yoga, recovery and wellness. He holds advanced certifications in both Hatha and Kundalini Yoga and has 20 years of recovery from acute drug addiction. Tommy is one of the pioneers in the burgeoning field of Yoga and Recovery assisting others to holistically transcend addictions of all kinds.
