If you’re leading a busy city life then chances are the following issues sound familiar:

• You’re feeling overwhelmed by your ‘to do’ list
• There never seems like there’s enough time in the day
• You feel tired, flat and, at times, unmotivated
• You experience anxiety, insomnia and regular mood changes
• You suffer from indigestion, back pain and shortage of breath

And the list can go on, particularly if you have a demanding job or friends and family relying and dependent on you. Due to social expectations and conditioning we continuously put pressure on ourselves, prioritising performance and achievement over creativity and the glorious flow of life, and then complain that we can’t relax, can’t sleep, can’t cope.

In this workshop designed to restore balance in your life, Sue Rahmani will be talking about the causes of burn out, its mental and physical effects, and how to heal and protect yourself despite the many challenges. The workshop will include a slow-paced yin-inspired asana sequence followed by restorative poses, combining breath and heart awareness and inducing calm and relaxation where true healing happens.
