Full Description

The retreat is set in Fuerteventura´s most beautiful modern luxury villa with stunning architecture.
The base is the village of Lajares, a young, upcoming village with many restaurants and bars. The art gallery and artesian shops like jewelry, silk drawing, etc. reflects the interesting community of multicultural influence. Lajares is a melting pot for people from all over Europe and even further.

Yoga
Each day of the retreat will begin with a silent meditation followed by a longer morning Yoga class in which we do softening, hydrating and releasing practices as well as stabilizing and strengthening practices.
In the evenings we will focus on restorative Yoga practices as well as the deeply nourishing practice of Yoga Nidra. The teaching is based on Hatha Yoga with emphasis on awreness, breath and alignment. The classes are accessible for practitioners of all yoga levels. Not a full-blown yogvels, readily adapted to your level of experience and comfort.

Meditation:
The physical practice of postures (asanas), is only one of eight traditional limbs of yoga, as outlined in the foundational text of yoga philosophy, The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
These limbs present a sort of eightfold path to enlightenment, which also includes: mindful breathing, turning inward, concentration, and of course meditation. In this retreat we will give a special emphasis to meditation practice.
We teach you right from the basis, how to sit right, how to relax and guide you with a lot of experience towards a quieter and more harmonious mind and greater mental health. Meditation alleviates stress and burnout symptoms, and helps you to a better concentration.
Experience the transformative power of meditation, when we can really quiet down our minds and bodies and experience an inner sense of peace and joy and well-being, and then find ways of connecting with the world around us in much healthier ways.

Hiking:
We offer on 3 alternating days guided hill hiking tours (aprox. 3 hours).

Food:
We aim to delight your palate with world class vegetarian cuisine. All meals are lovingly prepared using mainly organic, locally grown produce. We cook with virgin olive oil. Complimentary fresh fruit, mineral water and herbal teas are available throughout the day.
If you are allergic to certain ingredients we will do our best to meet your requirements, provided that you advise us in advance. If you have dietary needs that require special ingredients, please bring those items with you.
