Yoga Release - Gentle Somatic Yoga & Restorative Yoga.
Join us for Yoga Release. This workshop features mindful movement, pranayama (breathing techniques), and meditation.
Somatic Yoga means "embodied", It is a mind body connection, a way to re-educate our brains and reprogram our muscles to decrease pain, improve range of motion and gain strength & stability. You will build new neural pathways and leave feeling relaxed and restored.
Yoga Release is taught by Zen Body's Licensed Massage Therapist and Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher Caroline Meeks. She has over 6 years experience as a Massage Therapist and has been practicing Yoga since 2001. Caroline loves continuing education and is currently studying Gentle Somatic Yoga through Yoga Vista Academy with James Knight and is excited to share it with you.
