Yoga retreat Greece
The yoga retreat on the Greek island of Lesbos is unique. It's located in the mountains with a beautiful view of the Medieval town of Molivos. The retreat venue has its own swimming pool and 2-3 times during the week you will have the opportunity to use a hot tub heated to 40 degrees centigrade. From the venue you can walk to the beach in 15 minutes along a small mountain road and through a pine grove.
Type of Event
We arrange five yoga retreats abroad every year. Each day comprises four hours of guided yoga practice, except for arrival and departure days. For every day you will gain a deeper understanding of the different yoga positions, chakras, breathing techniques and restorative poses.
Mornings start quietly with half an hours meditation and breathing exercises. After that we will practise the sun salutation and more dynamic yoga positions (vinyasa flow), which will transition to classic yoga stretches. In the afternoon we continue working on gentle yoga stretches, where you will learn to let go of tension by using breathing and bioenergetic exercises. This practice can to increased energy flow which may have been blocked by tension somewhere in the body.
In the afternoons we will spend at least half an hour on relaxation, meditation and visualisation. Halfway through the week we have a day of silence. That day you will experience how the breath releases tension held deep inside your body through a breathing therapy session.
At the end of the week you will be given a yoga programme to continue once you are home again.
The retreats are suitable for beginners and experienced yoga practitioners alike, and will be tailored to suit individual needs. Midweek you will have a yoga free afternoon where you can choose to go on an excursion. To read more about the different retreat locations, click on one of the dates above.

For me it has been an important step on my journey to self discovery. The teaching is at a level where everyone is challenged – experienced as well as beginners. The mix of meditation, focus on breathing and yoga was well balanced. You will go home having had lots of good experiences, gained a greater understanding of yourself and bringing lots inspiration to keep practising yoga. The food was fantastic. Simple, light and made from good raw ingredients. A yoga retreat with Karina contains exactly what she herself exudes: deep engagement, introspection, peace and lots of humour.” Helle Rørbæk
“Karina's teaching is gentle and meditative and at the same time effective in all the right places. A fantastic exploration of the depths of the body. It has been like a deep flow for me, following the teaching. I especially enjoyed the variation created by the use of voice, yoga positions and mindfulness techniques. The venue is amazing. So luscious and beautiful.” Christel Schneiderman.
“Karina represents the very essence of yoga. She teaches from the heart in a way that makes it a unique experience to be taught by her.” Hanne Nimskov
