During this week end yoga retreat we focus on making a personal connection with nature through our yoga practice. Under the guidance of our experienced and inspiring teacher,Claudia Ciolli we’ll have from 5 to 8 hours of yoga sessions daily in our beautiful location “Le Case – Residenza di Campagna”, Umbria, in the heart of Italy, 17 minutes from Assisi, a holy city for Christians and an eternal destination for pilgrims wanting to the see the places where Saint Francis was born, where he worked, and where he died, an anforgettable small center propped up on the slopes of Mount Subasio.
This nature rich location offers a wonderful opportunity to be offline, intensify our practice and give a natural treatment to our body & mind. We’ll provide you with healthy vegetarian & vegan food, made from local and as much as possible organic resources. A beautiful swimming pool at your disposal.

About the teacher:
Claudia Ciolli has started to practice yoga from the beginning of her thirties and has been practicing in the tradition ever since. Master Teacher Yoga Alliance International 500 ryt. Based in Rome as a yoga and Tai chi Chuan teacher (black belt IV duan), she enjoys passing on her passion for yoga to her students in her weekly classes. She teaches yoga also to Kung Fu students in her Academy: Accademia di Arti Orientali “Il Tempio dei 5 Elementi” YOGA ROMA Colli Aniene, based in Rome.
She wrote a book for pregnant women “Manuale di Ginnastica Taoista e Tai Ji Quan in Gravidanza” - 2007 MIR Edizioni.
She's specialized in different styles of yoga, including Ashtanga, Yoga in the Workplace, Kids & Family Yoga, Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga, Yoga for women who had cancer.
In this retreat you'll have the opportunity to practicing different yoga styles under her guide.

- Tibetan Yoga, the Five Tibetan Rites, also known as the "Fountain of Youth," because this practice effectively strengthens and stretches all the main muscles in your body, rejuveneiting you. It also helps with balance.

- Yin yoga is based on the Taoist concept of yin and yang, opposite and complementary principles in nature. Yin is the stable, unmoving, hidden aspect of things; yang is the changing, moving, revealing aspect. In the body, the relatively stiff connective tissues (tendons, ligaments, fascia) are yin, while the more mobile and pliable muscles and blood are yang.
A Yin yoga class usually consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body - the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. The poses are held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer.
- Yoga Nidra or yogic sleep as it is commonly known, is an immensely powerful meditation technique, and one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain. While the practitioner rests comfortably in savasana (corpse pose), this systematic meditation takes you through the pancha maya kosha (five layers of self), leaving you with a sense of wholeness.
Power yoga is a fitness-based vinyasa practice. An offshoot of Ashtanga Yoga, it has many of the same qualities and benefits, including building internal heat, increased stamina, strength, and flexibility, as well as stress reduction. Teachers design their own sequences, while students synchronize their breath with their movement.
Kundalini Yoga is the yoga of awareness. It is the supreme method to awaken your awareness and take you into your infinite self. It is a natural unfolding of your own nature. Kundalini means awareness, it is the technology of human consciousness. Normally this awareness is sleeping within you and you experience your own capacity and reality in a limited way. Kundalini truly is a workout for the mind, body and soul.
