Full Description

Join Erika Trice for a week long yoga Sadhana Immersion in the heart of Bali. The Island of the Gods is known for its rich cultural and spiritual traditions, a perfect environment for nourishing and expanding your practice. During the immersion, each day will consists of 5 hours of mixed practice and study. You will learn about the Balinese philosophy of life while embarking on an exploration of the various components of yoga sadhana (practice), allowing you to go deeper into asana as well as pranayama, meditation and yogic philosophy. This amazing culture has so much to offer, through its wise integration of the spiritual with day to day living. In addition to our yoga studies, we will visit a traditional temple and receive teachings on the Balinese philosophy, helping us to soak in the palpable presence of Bali. This immersion is open to all students and is a 35-hour Yoga Alliance accredited continuing education course. Tri Hata Karana which means that “All beings live in harmony with nature, each other and the Divine,” will be our mantra for this week of devoted study.
The Bali Institute, Ubud’s premiere cultural organization, will guide us on exclusive immersion experiences to some of Bali’s most colorful markets and sacred local temples. We will observe ancient spiritual practices and meet community leaders and dignitaries to develop a better understanding of this unique culture.
