Full Description

Yoga Stops Traffick is a one day, worldwide community yoga event run by volunteers to raise awareness about human trafficking and much needed money to support its victims. The purpose of this worldwide sponsored sun salutation is to unite yoga practitioners across the globe in support of Odanadi Seva Trust.

By taking part you will be helping to spread awareness about the serious, rapidly escalating exploitation of women and children in India and also raise funds to support Odanadi’s crucial work in the field of prevention, rescue and rehabilitation.

Join us for this 1 hour 45 minute workshop with our teachers as we move through 108 sun salutations, a long deep savasana and an opportunity to connect as a community with tea after the class.

This is a cause that is very dear to Monona Yoga Teacher Kat Casey, and she has this to say: ''It is such and honor and privilege to bring this event to Monona Yoga. I have been involved in their events in the past, as I became aware of their work due to the proximity of ther program to where I studied yoga in Mysore, India. They are very special people and constantly put their own safety at risk to do the work they do.'' Please join us to show your support. Sat 5th March 12:00 pm .Minimum donation of just $15 with all proceeds going to this great cause.
