The Location:
Koa Tree Camp, Welcombe, Bideford, North Devon, EX39 6HE:
Nestled just a few miles from the coast of Devon and Cornwall, Koa Tree Camp is a luxury campsite with a taste for adventure. Set amongst a 30 acre farm providing a base from which to enjoy all of the activities and beauty that this area of the UK has to offer.

The wonderful location combines the amazing outdoors with style, comfort and great service. So if you’re looking for an active rural retreat, a break away from the hustle bustle, our location will give you what you're looking for.

The Accommodation:
Accommodation is provided by 5 traditional Mongolian yurts and, 2 Norwegian Style Log Cabins and 3 British Bell Tents, all of which have been styled and equipped in a truly unique fashion. Each tent, cabin or yurt provides space for between 2-6 people and can cater for couples, families and groups.

Your Yoga Teacher; Toni Roberts
Yoga has been part of Toni’s life since 1998 and she inspires a practice that heals, improves and integrates the processes and qualities of body and mind, both on and off the mat. Through her inimitable style of informed teaching, Toni challenges the body, engages the mind and quickens the spirit.

Toni first began to study and practice yoga as a way of combating the stresses of her burgeoning career in commercial illustration and interactive design. Her yoga journey has continued ever since and, in 2005, Toni qualified as a 200hr Yoga Alliance Barkan Method teacher. She returned a year later to become certified to teach Level II & III and Hot Vinyasa Flow.

With a relentless passion for learning and sharing what she has learnt, Toni inspires a deeper understanding of yoga’s tradition of self enquiry through the flow of breath, movement, and mindfulness. She has trained hundreds of students to become yoga teachers through the Yogahaven 200hr certification program and leads inspirational yoga classes, retreats, workshops and teacher training’s in the UK and abroad.

Toni has graduated in Classical Yoga for Children and Teenagers, Pre and Postnatal Yoga, Raja Yoga Meditation, Anatomy and Physiology, Yoga History, Philosophy, Ethics, and Shoden and Okuden Reiki. In 2013, she qualified as a Minded Yoga Therapist after rigorous practical and academic training with the Minded Institute. In 2014 Toni trained with Krishnatakis at The Sunshine House as a Thai Yoga Massage Therapist and at the beginning of this year (2016) spent one month in India with Heather Elton, Emil Wendell, and Matteo Postino deepening her studies and practice of yoga. Her current studies include Yoga History, Literature and Philosophy; Neuroscience; Yoga Nidra, Yoga for Grief.

She has received intensive instruction and training from many world-renowned teachers including Manju Jois, Max Strom, Ana Forest, Baron Baptiste, and Sharon Gannon and David Life. 

Toni is eternally respectful and thankful to all of her teachers past, present and future, including her greatest teacher of all, her daughter Sukie.

The Retreat:
With 11 years of teaching experience and as someone who pursues a calling to help and support others, this retreat is the perfect place to unwind, relax and refresh. Toni's teaching and experience caters for all age groups, and abilities, so if you're a beginner who wants to learn the basics or an experienced practitioner who wants to delve deeper and understand their practice from the heart, this beautiful location and combination of a great team of people will provide a safe and nurturing place for you to do so.

Your Retreat Includes:
3 nights accommodation in our stylish Mongolian yurts or log cabins.
Nutritious and sustaining breakfast, lunch & 3 course dinner (, coffee and healthy snacks).
Morning, afternoon and evening yoga, meditation & deep relaxation (8 sessions in total with Toni Roberts).
2 Surf Lessons with our professional surf coaches (All equipment included)

Your Retreat Doesn't Include:
You will need to bring your own towels, but all bed linen is provided.
Transport to and from the retreat is not included.
Transport to the surf beach (only 10 mins away) is not included. Car sharing is encouraged.
