Full Description

1. Techniques Training / Practice
Includes Asana, Pranayama, Kriya, Chanting, Mantra, Meditation and other traditional techniques. These hours are a mix between:
- Analytical training in how to teach and practice the techniques
- Guided practice of the techniques themselves.

2. Teaching Methodology - Practicum
The principles of demonstration, observation, assisting and correcting, instruction, teaching styles, qualities of a teacher, student's process of learning and business aspects of teaching includes also practice teaching, receiving feedback, observing others teaching, hearing and giving feedback and assisting as student while someone else is teaching.

3. Anatomy & Physiology
Includes both, human physical anatomy and physiology,
bodily systems, organs, etc. and the energy body; chakras, nadis, etc. It includes the study of the subject and application of its principles to yoga practice as benefits, contraindications, healthy movement patterns, etc.

4. Philosophy, Lifestyle & Ethics for Yoga Teachers
Trainees will understand the principles of philosophy and how to adopt a yogic lifestyle and use the traditions as the basis for their teachings as written in the Yoga Sutras.
This includes lecture on the principles of Karma, Bhakti, Jñana and Raja Yoga, the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Vedas, Ramayana, Mahabharata and Bhagavat Gita.
