Week #1 is an introduction to Yoga. It is an excellent retreat week for any level Yogi. Or the beginning of your Yoga Teacher Training journey.

Curriculum includes: history, philosophy, teaching methodology, asanas (techniques, benefits and contraindications), sequencing, practicum anatomy and physiology as applied to Yoga, chair yoga, relaxation and meditation.
• The 5 Branches of Yoga/ Different Styles of Hatha-Yoga
• Prana and Breath
• Karma and Dharma
• Chakras, Mantras, and Sounds
• Raja-Yoga/ 8 Limbs of Patanjali
• Jnana-Yoga – Yoga of Knowledge
This YTT module includes "Teacher Training Manual", Jnana-Yoga Philosophy booklet and daily vegetarian lunch.
