Full Description

15th to 22nd October

'The road to Epidaurus is like the road to creation.
One stops searching.
One grows silent, stilled by the hush of mysterious beginnings.
I never knew the meaning of peace until I arrived at the stillness, in the great peace that came over me,
I heard the heart of the world beat.
I know what the cure is;
it is to give up, to relinquish, to surrender, that our little hearts may beat in unison with the great heart of the ' - Henry Miller

In October, we return for our 4th time to the small and charming village of Epidavros (Epidaurus) - a center of ancient healing nestled amongst the orange and olive groves on the beautiful coast of the Peloponnese. According to Greek mythology, Epidavros was the birthplace of Asklepios - the god of Medicine and son of Apollo - and is famed as an ancient healing center.

Surrounded by the peaceful and magical ancient healing energy of Epidavros, on a beautiful Yoga shala overlooking the sea, we will be practicing daily at sunrise and sunset and exploring the meaning behind the 7 chakras or energy centres of the subtle body for your physical, emotional and spiritual well being.
