ARM BALANCE YOGA
November 15th, 9.30am to 12pm
This workshop will provide in-depth instruction and guidance with challenging arm balances. We will also examine techniques on how to protect your joints by using various bandhas. Create freedom and strength in hip, neck and shoulders. Strengthen and lengthen the muscles around these joints and create space in these areas. Come learn a pathway to channel these postures into your everyday practice with ease and excitement.
INTRODUCTION TO MEDITATION
November 16th, 9.30am to 12pm
This workshop will bring you a grounding introduction to the practice of meditation. We will explore Yoga Nidra, Restorative Asanas, Calming Pranayama, Observing breath (Pratyahara), Concentration (Dharana), Silent meditation (Dhyana) & Mantra meditation. It is a deep study of different methods of meditation for people who want to benefit from meditation at a different level. Meditation improves your mental well-being. Thoughts become rootless, where disturbance becomes unnecessary and comfort becomes essential. To tap into this vast mind of potential, this is the workshop to begin with! No prior experience is necessary for introductory level events. It is also
appropriate for experienced practitioners who wish to refresh their practice.

About Jani ():
Since 2000 Finnish national Jani has explored yoga with Janne Kontala, his life-long teacher and friend. Jani's passion and commitment to yoga has given him the privilege to participate in extensive yoga training from various international teachers, such as
Cle Souren, Iyengar, Dwarka Das, Yogi Sachi, and Brahmacari Rudradev.
In 2012, Jani moved to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia to run his home-based yoga shala - Gokul Yogashala (), where he shares with his students a variety of truly authentic styles of yoga in classes, workshops, retreats and teacher trainings. Known for sharing his love and knowledge of yoga in a clear, dynamic and generous manner, he receives invitations and returns regularly to teach workshops and conduct retreats in Croatia, France, Estonia, India, Australia, Bali, Malaysia, Singapore, China and Indonesia. His dedication and
