This a 90 minute pregnancy yoga class with time at the end to join me with tea and homemade treats and chat about anything that might be on your mind about pregnancy and upcoming motherhood.
My YogaBirth classes aim to prepare you not only physically, but also emotionally and psychologically, for the incredible journey that accompanies the transition to motherhood.
Whether you have had a child already or are experiencing pregnancy for the first time – yoga is a fantastic way to ease some of the symptoms that you might encounter through mindful movement, as well as giving yourself some time each week to connect to your baby and your breath.
With a focus on grounding and working with gravity, you will be guided through a 90 minute class that draws on the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli – a gentle yet powerful approach, ideal for pregnant women.
We will move in ways that invite spaciousness, release tensions and help you tune in to your body’s own natural intelligence.
During the yoga, tips on active birth positions, breathing, labour techniques, fetal positioning and pelvic floor awareness will all be weaved in to help you leave the class feeling informed, empowered and most of all excited about the incredible experience of pregnancy and birth!
After a deep relaxation there is the opportunity to join me with tea and homemade treats to have a chat about anything that might be on your mind relating to pregnancy and upcoming motherhood. This time to share with others who are going through similar changes to you can be invaluable and I aim to create a safe, friendly space where all pregnant people are welcome.
