Full Description

This teacher training program is broken into three levels or modules consisting of intense 8 days of training in a row. Our course has been approved by Yoga Alliance USA and we abide by their strict quality standards. There are 5main objective sections of our training weighted as follows:
Techniques and Yoga Practice – 60%
Alignment & Anatomy – 10%
Philosophy and Lifestyle – 15%
Teaching Methodology – 10%
Practicum/ Teaching Practice – 5%
Daily Schedule:
2 to 3 hours of morning yoga practice

Module 1: (Introductory Level: Basic Foundations)
• What is Yoga
• History of Yoga
• Yoga Anatomy and Alignment Principles for all types of movements
• How to breathe properly and the anatomy of breathing
• Pranayama Techniques suitable for everyone
• Level one self practice or class sequence (standing poses, seated poses, basic level inverts, simple arm balances)
• Relaxation Techniques
• How to instruct a yoga class
Module 2: (Intermediate Level: How to design your own yoga class)
• The 8 limbs of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras
• What is Vinyasa and different types of vinyasas and their applications
• Yoga Sequencing Theory Toolbox
• The Chakras
• Chitta Vrtti; studying the fluctuations of the mind
• Pranayama Techniques for energetic classes
• Level Two self practice or class sequence (Handstands, Twists, Backbends, Deeper hip Stretches, Arm Balances)
• How to design from scratch and teach your own yoga class
Module 3: (How to design a personal yoga session)
• The Hatha Yoga Pradipica
• Yoga Sutras 1:1 to 1:4
• Meditation Practice
• Analysis Techniques for Yogatherapy
• Analyzing bone structure differences in individuals
• Ayurveda and Tridosha Analysis and applications in yoga
• Level 3 self practice or class sequence (Headstands, Forearm stands, Core and Power, Shoulder Flexibility)
