A week to deepen your practice of Iyengar Yoga amongst the beauty and tranquility of the Andalucian mountains.

The cost of the ‘Escape’ is £620 per person. This includes; 7 nights en-suite accommodation (one double bedroom available for a couple, first come first served), all yoga tuition and equipment, all meals except for on Wednesday when breakfast only will be provided. 24/7 free fruit, tea and coffee facility.
Not included in the price are: flights, transfers, travel and health insurance, any excursions on your free day and dinner on Wednesday evening.
On your week long ‘Escape’ you are free from the distractions of daily life, you will share meals and conversation with other students, enjoy the sun, the calmness, the water and the views. This unique environment creates a space to relax in which you are able to become more responsive to new yoga postures and new instructions, exploring the postures in depth over a period of several days.
We will have two yoga classes per day, 2-3 hours in the morning and 2 hours in late afternoon for restorative, inversions and some pranayama. On Wednesday there will be a morning class only, then your time is your own to explore the surrounding areas such as the Nerja Caves or the ‘white’ village of Comares, horse ride or follow a bandit route in ‘El Torcal’. There will be plenty of time in the afternoon to relax by the pool or explore nature. Punto de Luz it is the perfect place to ditch your phone and the internet, to let the outside world carry on without you, just for a little bit.
Our hosts are Richard and Betty who are British/Italian born. Betty is a nutritionist and Richard a “living food expert” Richard prepares all the food himself and Betty will be taking great care of us during our stay, providing optional massages and natural healing treatments. Food will be plentiful and very healthy, a perfect diet for intensive practice with breakfast after the morning yoga class, lunch and a hearty dinner after the late afternoon class.
At specific times the bar serves freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices and fresh coffee, while tea, coffee, herbal infusions and snacks are available 24 hours a day for the guests to enjoy. An honesty bar for alcoholic and soft drinks is also open 24 hours a day.
