Ahki Retreat is located on the Nicoya Peninsula approximately 11 kilometers South of Nosara/Playa Guiones, home to the famed Nosara Yoga Institute. This area of Costa Rica is fast becoming the mecca that is drawing yoginis, teachers, healers and retreaters. The Nicoya Peninsula is of the five "Blue Zones" in the world, where people who live here are said to live the longest and happiest lives. A most perfect backdrop for your retreat!
Ahki was created with the intention to provide the sacred space where people can find the appropriate support for their work along the path of wholeness. Built using the principles of Vastu Shastra, "the yoga of space", Ahkí maximizes the 9 directions, 5 elements and planetary alignments, to vibrate and harmonize with the Universal energies. A unique retreat center, indeed!
Karen and Greg, founders and owners of Ahkí are always on hand to assist in any way they can to make your retreat run smoothly and effortlessly. Accommodating a maximum of 20 people, Ahki is an intimate space holding only one retreat (YOURS!) at a time, giving you full and undivided attention from Karen and Greg and staff. Your meals are vegetarian and prepared gluten and dairy free. Chef Ana will make the necessary modifications to your meals based on any food aversions or allergies.
Ahkí also offers a variety of bodywork and spa treatments as well as help in making all your excursion and transportation arrangements.
